The Emmanuel Baptist Church strives to be an "open-door" church, actively reaching out and welcoming people from every walk of life to worship and fellowship with us as we get to know God through a personal realationship with Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to courageously represent the kingdom of God through witness, discipleship, fellowship and obedience. It is our duty to give God the glory as we build up his kingdom.
It is the mission of Emmanuel Baptist Church to bring glory to God by loving him and others through a life of worship, service , fellowship and missions.

Emmanuel Baptist Church Doctrinal Statement - Our Beliefs
We believe the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments to be verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and the supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe in the 1611 King James Version.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, the only begotten Son of God, and is true God and true man.
We believe that the Lord Jesus died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
We believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will personally return and set up His Kingdom wherein He will rule and reign in righteousness.
We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the blessedness of the saved, and the retribution of the lost.
We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinaces to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are not, however, to be regarded as means of salvation.
Emmanuel Baptist Church Covenant
Having been brought by divine grace to receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and LORD, and on profession of faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: We do not covenant with God and with one another, as one body in Christ.
We will, as GOD shall enable us, walk together in brotherly Love; we will remember each other in prayer; we will care for the happiness and prosperity of each other; we will participate in one another's joys and endeavor with tenderness and sympathy to bear one another's burdens.
We will sustain public worship by regular attendance and support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations.
We will maintain habits of personal prayer and Bible reading; we will earnestly endeavor to bring up our children and those under our care in the nurture and admonition of the Lord; we will seek to win our fellow men to Christ; and will endeavor so to incarnate the spirit of Christ and to express in our lives the strength and beauty of the Gospel as to make attractive to the world the life of Christian discipleship.
We moreover engage that, when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with some other church of the Faith where we can carry out the spirit of this convenant and the principles of GOD's Word.
Emmanuel Baptist Sunday School Mission Statement
As Emmanuel Baptist Church staff, Sunday School teachers and workers, we hereby accept the responsibility as led by our Lord and Savior to instruct and equip others in His Word. In order to better outline that goal and means to attain it, the following guidelines are established:
- We will rely upon and acknowledge the authority of the Holy Scriptures, 1611 King James Version and endeavor to stay true to the Word of God in all that will be taught.
- We will teach with a goal to affirm that the Word of God is "alive" and to impart that life and excitement to those who hear it. To that goal, we will attempt to keep presentation "fresh" by changing methods of presentation, physical settings and making any other adjustments necessary.
- We will teach with a goal of increasing the comprehension, retention and personal life application of God's Word.
- We will teach with a goal to demonstrate the personal nature of God's Word to each person by attempting to get them individually and actively involved in the learning process.
- We will teach with the understanding that a major goal is to disciple, train and equip all attendees to become stronger and more mature in their faith as well as being able to demonstrate Christian character in their lives.
- As teachers, we realize the importance of proper preparation and all will endeavor to be in the classroom on time, prepared with all appropriate materials and ready to teach at all appointed dates/times. Additionally, should teachers be unable to be present for any reason, arrangements will be made for a replacement teacher as early as possible so that a substitute teacher may also be prepared and ready to teach.
- As teachers and staff of EBC, we realize that our ultimate goal is to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in all that we do and will particularly strive to do that in all teaching sessions. Additionally, as part of that process, we will attempt to ensure that all attendees have ample opportunities to receive Jesus as their personal Savior and will be prepared to lead them through that process.
